WWJD? The Trilogy

Although my main focus of this blog is to share God’s Trilogy (God’s Promise, God’s Request, and God’s Warning), I decided that sharing some of my personal background, especially how The Triology came to be, should be my beginning.

I am a seventy year old mother and grandmother.  I am grateful for all the blessings He has bestowed on my family. For over 20 years, I have suffered severe neck and arm pain due to a on the job injury. Consequently, this has resulted in six neck surgeries. I am facing three more surgeries in the next few months. I am telling you this brief history of myself to share how this physical pain, has brought me closer to the Lord.

I had thought His plan for my life was to be a social worker trained in rescuing children who had been sexually and/or physically abused. After suffering an on-the-job injury, I had to give up a job I dearly loved. I had believed that this career,  was what God had created me for. However, through my desolation of pain, I began to understand that my condition was necessary to remold me and to teach me that my travails were not a punishment, but to transform me spiritually for His purpose.

In 1997, we had a house fire. God protected us and we were not harmed. The fire consumed many precious and irreplaceable items. The Holy Spirit made it clear to me that I had not fully surrendered myself. Unlike the fire in my body from pain, I had to be stripped of things that were precious to me. Even in the inferno, there were blessings. Out of ashes, I found my children’s photo albums and my Bible.

Throughout my life, even more so after my injury, God has blessed me with spiritual discernment and at times I have had visions. One of these visions in 1973, was played out in a real life experience. If I would have ignored it, my entire family would have been killed by a large SUV running a red light. As the vision played out this reality, I felt ice cold on a steamy 95 degree day in July. The vision had warned me of the direction from which the SUV was coming. I had not told my husband about my vision, but I screamed, “Stop!”, and the car passed us by inches. I had taken a leap of faith and God spared our lives.

One night after the fire and recuperating from another surgery, the Holy Spirit drew me to my Bible. As I opened it, it seemed like the pages were being lifted by gusts of wind. God led me to write down verse after verse. He said to divide His Word into three segments: GOD’S PROMISE,  GOD’S REQUEST,  and GOD’S WARNING It was the beginning of His sharing the scripture He wanted the world to know. From that night on, after every surgery when the fire from pain was the worst, the Holy Spirit came to me, drew me to my Bible, and added verses to complete The Trilogy. Several years ago, I was given a dream about Johnny Appleseed. I saw him spreading apple seeds everywhere, so it was told to me that these scriptures must be seeded around the world.

I chose to name this blog WWJD? as a reminder of what the 1990’s “What Would Jesus Do?  movement meant. The movement was based on the book ‘ In His Steps written by Charles Sheldon. In the movement, Christians began wearing WWJD bracelets to remind themselves to act in ways that would personify Jesus teachings from the gospels. The question “WWJD?” is a shorthand way of remembering:

  • What would Jesus do in situations like this?
  • What would Jesus do in my situation?
  • How can I emulate Him?

The current melding of patriotism and Christ indicates the rising and terrifying evidence of Christian nationalism under the past presidency, a large percentage of the current GOP Republican Party, and some Conservative Evangelicals. It is based on achieving individual power instead of showing wisdom that ultimately leads to peace, no matter the situation.

After asking the above questions of whether we want to emulate Jesus, we must be willing to decide:

  • Do we really want to know God’s will?
  • Are we willing to hear the answers to WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
  • Are we willing to obey the answers to WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
  • Are we willing to seek only God to understand His will?

The Trilogy is 80-90% of Christ’s direct words during His life on earth. I am only the vessel He chose to deliver it. It is a condensed version of the Bible. Segment by segment, He has laid out His Plan of Salvation for all the world. Each verse is like a golden thread woven into a tapestry, showing it is His plan for the world, even before time began. I have not added or subtracted from His Divine Word, just as my dream commanded, these scriptures must be shared with the world.

What Would Jesus Do? is completely answered in God’s Promise, God’s Request, and God’s Warning. All we need to do is follow God’s words, never forgetting His unconditional love for each of His children. Our directives as Christians is not to spread hate, lies, and disinformation. We are to seek His wisdom and live with all mankind in peace, love, and harmony.

Readers, please search your heart and soul. These are the divine words and teachings of Christ. We live in precarious times, when those seeking power over others are bending God’s Word, to fit their own narrative. God does not see color, race, creed, or our status in life. He only sees our hearts and whether we are willing to seek only God, to understand His will for all our lives. His desire for the world is that we live in His justice. In the last verse of God’s Promise, God speaks about His greatest gift the world will ever know:

“Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on Him and He will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out or raise His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice; He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His law the islands will put their hopes.” ~ Isaiah 42:1-4

I am a 69 year old mother and grandmother who throughout my life has been blessed with spiritual discernment. The Trilogy was given to me as part of this discernment. I chose WWJD as the title of my blog, to remind people that the WWJD movement in the 19990’s was to ask the questions; What would Jesus do? How can I emulate Him? At the time the Trilogy was completed, I was told that the Holy Spirit would tell me the time to publish the Trilogy.
